UNION Juliet (2020)

Your refurbed product

Our refurbished sports equipment is up to 40% cheaper and more sustainable than buying new. It is completely renewed and carefully tested by experts. This is also the advantage over, for example, used skis, bicycles or fitness equipment. In addition, we have sports equipment made from recycled materials in our range. Refurbed products have at least a 12-month warranty and a 30-day trial period.

UNION Juliet (2020) - Description

An accessible all-mountain charger that’s built to last - the Juliet binding from Union

The Juliet is one of Union’s best selling bindings, and the reason is clear - it’s packed with high-end materials and great features, at a good price point. Overall, the Juliet is an all-mountain/freestyle binding for medium to advanced level riders, with a low weight at maximum comfort.

Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is a nonprofit foundation that advocates early detection and a healthy, active, and sustainable lifestyle as the best means for breast cancer prevention. For every B4BC Union binding sold, Union gives 2% back to B4BC.

Highback Symmetric in shape, asymmetric in flex, the LG1 Highbacks are shaped anatomically correct for optimal comfort, control and performance for the ladies.

Baseplate The Stage 5 Duraflex Base is perfect for every terrain and very robust. Canted and bombproof, the Stage 5 blows away everything in its class. The rigidity and strength of the Extruded 3D aluminium heelcup act like a roll cage on a convertible race car - stiffening the entire chassis. The thermoformed EVA bushings offer excellent dampening and sustain their function season after season. The canted design puts your body in the most natural and ergonomic position on the board.

Straps The Classic Lite ankle straps are light as a feather and super comfortable. The multi-layer strap core evenly distributes pressure, keeping you locked in and on point. The thermoplastic anti-slip material of the UltraGrip toe strap keeps your boot locked in. You can put the toe strap over the top of your boot or over the toes. The mechanism of the Aluminium buckles is superior to any binding buckle on the market - with the exception of Union Magnesium.

What is refurbed?

refurbed is an online marketplace that serves as a one-stop-shop for sustainable consumption in various categories: electronics, household appliances, sports, and more.

Why should one buy from refurbed?

At refurbed, we offer you a more sustainable alternative to conventional sports goods. All sports goods listed on our platform are either refurbished or newly made from recycled materials. This way, we reduce the dependence on new resources, reduce waste, and lower CO₂ emissions. In addition, for every item sold, we support environmental protection projects. Furthermore, you have a 30-day free trial and a minimum 12-month warranty on every product. This way, you can shop with us without any risk.

What does "refurbished" mean?

These are products that are either used or can no longer be sold as new. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. By giving these items a second life, we can both reduce waste and offer more affordable sports equipment.

How is “refurbished” classified?

We want to offer affordable and environmentally conscious sports equipment without compromising on quality. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. All our "refurbed" items are in perfect operating condition and are primarily graded based on visible signs of wear:
Excellent: Minor, not immediately visible optical defects.
Very good: Minor, visible optical defects.
Good: Visible optical defects.

What does "recycled" mean?

In line with our circular thinking, refurbed Sports offers not only refurbished products, but also new sports equipment made from recycled materials. This includes upcycled materials, old stock, pre- and post-consumer recycling, and other waste. By reusing existing materials, we minimise waste, consume fewer resources, and contribute to a better environment.

How does refurbed guarantee the quality of the products?

Only professional and certified refurbishers are allowed to offer their products on refurbed. We monitor customer satisfaction and refurbisher performance closely and conduct regular quality tests to ensure an excellent shopping experience for all. And finally, all our refurbishers are based within the EU to enable fast delivery times and optimal contact with the refurbisher.

How does the 30-day free trial work?

If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it for free within the 30-day free trial. You can contact the refurbisher directly via your customer account and let them know that you want to exchange or return your item. Alternatively, you can of course also contact our refurbed customer service. We are happy to help and contact the refurbisher for you. You will receive a free return label from the refurbisher by email or in your customer account.

What are my warranty conditions?

We offer you a 12-month statutory warranty. This covers all defects, i.e. everything that is considered poor workmanship of the product and was not caused by your own actions.

Which environmental protection projects do we invest in?

We have planted over 6.6 million trees since our foundin, and we are very proud! We realised that planting trees alone does not tackle all of the environmental issues we a passionate about, however. That's why we now also support projects that
- restore landscapes — ecosystems are repaired and jobs are created, including tree planting along the way
- remove carbon from the atmosphere and store it permanently
- recycle electronic waste and reuse materials
