The Ladies Choice is a reflection of Jamie Anderson’s positive self, supporting all efforts she makes to push the progression of snowboarding. Whether it be podium-topping, jaw-dropping manoeuvres in the park, hard ripping in the resort or taking on new frontiers in the backcountry, Jamie’s award-winning dream board will always be there for you. Hand-built in the USA at the World’s Most Environmental Board Factory, the Ladies Choice is produced with quality craftsmanship and conscience in line with Jamie’s unreal eco-ethos at Mervin MFG. Profile

The Ladies Choice is built with Banana Technology C2x. C2x means rocker between your feet combined with camber out to tip and tail. Kills everything! Aggressive perfection in turning, jibbing and unreal float in pow combined with a tip to tail control, power, and pop of camber.

Shape

The human body is asymmetric. Turn mechanics on a tow and heel side turn are completely different. Gnu builds in asymmetric balancing concepts to each side of your snowboard harmonizing with nature and creating a more efficient, less tiring, unreal ride. The Ladies Choice is built with Level 2 Asym: asymmetric wood core, which means softer flexing on the heelside, asymmetric sidecut, which means deeper sidecut on the heelside, and asymmetric contact angles and length, for a shorter heelside contact.

This board also features Magne-Traction® Serrated Edges that deliver unreal edge hold and turn ice into powder. The serrated Steak Knife Technology consists of 7 strategically located and sized edge serrations that provide unreal edge hold and control in all conditions: entry serration, mild serration and deepest serrations between the feet.

Flex

The medium **flex **of the Ladies Choice is perfect for all aspects of freestyle riding, supportive and responsive enough for taking big kickers and forgiving and flexible enough for jibbing around.

Construction

On Mt Weird, GNU continually tests new nature and science applications to improve their board design to create snowboards which are stronger, lighter and longer lasting. The Ladies Choice is built with Asym Unreal G3 Construction. The Core is made with Balsa, Aspen and Paulownia which is balanced lighter, FCS certified, strong & poppy. The tri-ax and bi-ax Bio Fiber Dampener is smooth, durable, light and poppy. The Sintered Knife-Cut Base is tough, fast and holds wax well.

How is “refurbished” classified?
We want to offer affordable and environmentally conscious sports equipment without compromising on quality. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. All our "refurbed" items are in perfect operating condition and are primarily graded based on visible signs of wear:
Excellent: Minor, not immediately visible optical defects.
Very good: Minor, visible optical defects.
Good: Visible optical defects.
What does "recycled" mean?
In line with our circular thinking, refurbed Sports offers not only refurbished products, but also new sports equipment made from recycled materials. This includes upcycled materials, old stock, pre- and post-consumer recycling, and other waste. By reusing existing materials, we minimise waste, consume fewer resources, and contribute to a better environment.
How does refurbed guarantee the quality of the products?
Only professional and certified refurbishers are allowed to offer their products on refurbed. We monitor customer satisfaction and refurbisher performance closely and conduct regular quality tests to ensure an excellent shopping experience for all. And finally, all our refurbishers are based within the EU to enable fast delivery times and optimal contact with the refurbisher.
How does the 30-day free trial work?
If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it for free within the 30-day free trial. You can contact the refurbisher directly via your customer account and let them know that you want to exchange or return your item. Alternatively, you can of course also contact our refurbed customer service. We are happy to help and contact the refurbisher for you. You will receive a free return label from the refurbisher by email or in your customer account.
What are my warranty conditions?
We offer you a 12-month statutory warranty. This covers all defects, i.e. everything that is considered poor workmanship of the product and was not caused by your own actions.
Which environmental protection projects do we invest in?
We have planted over 6.6 million trees since our foundin, and we are very proud! We realised that planting trees alone does not tackle all of the environmental issues we a passionate about, however. That's why we now also support projects that
- restore landscapes — ecosystems are repaired and jobs are created, including tree planting along the way
- remove carbon from the atmosphere and store it permanently
- recycle electronic waste and reuse materials
