Our refurbished sports equipment is up to 40% cheaper and more sustainable than buying new. It is completely renewed and carefully tested by experts. This is also the advantage over, for example, used skis, bicycles or fitness equipment. In addition, we have sports equipment made from recycled materials in our range. Refurbed products have at least a 12-month warranty and a 30-day trial period.

The new model from Jones for freestyle all over the mountain

It’s the second year in the line for the Jones Tweaker. It feels right at home in the park and hitting natural obstacles all over the mountain. It’s a True Twin with a playful flex but offers perfect edge hold on hardpack and in difficult conditions thanks to Traction Tech 3.0, a corrugated edge. Its camber profile supports during difficult landings and high speeds.

The Tweaker stands for pure freestyle joy in the park, on the way there and in the backcountry.

Shape

The Tweaker’s True Twin Shape is perfectly symmetrical and rides forward, just like switch. In deep snow, you’ll enjoy less snow being carried back over the sides of the nose thanks to the Blunt Nose. This means you get the benefits of a longer traditional nose without the extra weight. Traction Tech 3.0, the corrugated edge, ensures the best grip in all snow conditions.

Profile

The Tweaker’s **True Camber **profile offers you stability, edge hold and maximum performance.

Flex

The medium flex provides a precise and controlled feel yet remains playful enough for presses and butters.

Construction

The** FSC™ Classic Core** is an all-wood premium poplar core with pop, even flex and solid durability. The** Biax fibreglass **makes for a playful and snappy ride. The **ECO-Plastic Topsheet is made from castor seeds. This biomaterial is extremely light, resistant to scratches and breaks, and water and snow repellent. Super Sap Bio Resin** is plant-based and makes production a little more environmentally friendly. The sintered 8000 base is easy and quick to repair due to the UHMW-PE. The rubber for cushioning the edges and the ABS in the sidewalls is made from** 100 % recycled materials**. All Jones boards are ‘ready to shred’ and are waxed at the factory with natural WEND wax, as well as slightly rounded at the tip and tail to be ready to go on the mountain right after the shop. For a higher material yield, Jones swaps the colours of the base, reducing waste generated in production.

refurbed is an online marketplace that serves as a one-stop-shop for sustainable consumption in various categories: electronics, household appliances, sports, and more.

Why should one buy from refurbed?

At refurbed, we offer you a more sustainable alternative to conventional sports goods. All sports goods listed on our platform are either refurbished or newly made from recycled materials. This way, we reduce the dependence on new resources, reduce waste, and lower CO₂ emissions. In addition, for every item sold, we support environmental protection projects. Furthermore, you have a 30-day free trial and a minimum 12-month warranty on every product. This way, you can shop with us without any risk.

What does "refurbished" mean?

These are products that are either used or can no longer be sold as new. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. By giving these items a second life, we can both reduce waste and offer more affordable sports equipment.

How is “refurbished” classified?

We want to offer affordable and environmentally conscious sports equipment without compromising on quality. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. All our "refurbed" items are in perfect operating condition and are primarily graded based on visible signs of wear:
Excellent: Minor, not immediately visible optical defects.
Very good: Minor, visible optical defects.
Good: Visible optical defects.

What does "recycled" mean?

In line with our circular thinking, refurbed Sports offers not only refurbished products, but also new sports equipment made from recycled materials. This includes upcycled materials, old stock, pre- and post-consumer recycling, and other waste. By reusing existing materials, we minimise waste, consume fewer resources, and contribute to a better environment.

How does refurbed guarantee the quality of the products?

Only professional and certified refurbishers are allowed to offer their products on refurbed. We monitor customer satisfaction and refurbisher performance closely and conduct regular quality tests to ensure an excellent shopping experience for all. And finally, all our refurbishers are based within the EU to enable fast delivery times and optimal contact with the refurbisher.

How does the 30-day free trial work?

If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it for free within the 30-day free trial. You can contact the refurbisher directly via your customer account and let them know that you want to exchange or return your item. Alternatively, you can of course also contact our refurbed customer service. We are happy to help and contact the refurbisher for you. You will receive a free return label from the refurbisher by email or in your customer account.

What are my warranty conditions?

We offer you a 12-month statutory warranty. This covers all defects, i.e. everything that is considered poor workmanship of the product and was not caused by your own actions.

Which environmental protection projects do we invest in?

We have planted over 6.6 million trees since our foundin, and we are very proud! We realised that planting trees alone does not tackle all of the environmental issues we a passionate about, however. That's why we now also support projects that
- restore landscapes — ecosystems are repaired and jobs are created, including tree planting along the way
- remove carbon from the atmosphere and store it permanently
- recycle electronic waste and reuse materials
