​Shape

The Solution comes with a directional shape that makes high speeds super easy and offers you good floatation. **Taper **means a narrower tail than nose, which gives you more float in deep snow by allowing the tail to sink in more easily. The blunt nose ensures that less snow is carried backwards over the sides of the nose. This means you get the benefits of a longer traditional nose, without the extra weight. Traction Tech 2.0, the corrugated edge, ensures the best edge hold in all conditions.

Profile

The** Directional Rocker **consists of a camber between the legs and a larger rocker at the nose than at the tail. This keeps the board extremely manoeuvrable in pow and gives it additional buoyancy. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission. The slightly rockered tail increases power transmission and stability. The freeride-focused 3D Base Contour 3.0 comes with a balanced 7 mm upturn in nose and tail. The bending up of the base starts at the rocker.

Flex

A stiff flex (8/10) will ensure very precise response and control.

Construction

The Solution Split is based on the** FSC™ Ultra Core, the ultra-light core made mainly of paulownia with specially positioned poplar stringers. Triax fibreglass** ensures a precise and forgiving run in any terrain. The** Flax/Basalt stringers** are made from 100 % natural fibres and improve power transmission to the edges, torsional response and provide a smoother run. Super Sap Bio Resin is plant-based and is used instead of petroleum-based epoxy. For the outer edges, Jones-proven **oversized, recycled and extremely durable steel edges are used, for the inner edges, thin recycled edges** for weight saving. Jones also uses recycled Rounded ABS, which extends the life of the topsheet. The **ECO-plastic textured topsheet **made from environmentally friendly castor seeds is lightweight and durable. The construction is rounded off by the Sintered 9900 base. The lightweight base is easy and quick to repair, thanks to the UHMW-PE.

The **Quick Tension Tail **offers a built-in system for mounting the climbing skins, the notches on the tail mean you no longer need tail clips to attach the skins.

​Karakoram Clips

The Solution Split comes with** Karakoram UltraClips** and Tip Locks. The adjustable tension of the Ultra Clips brings the two halves of your splitboard together unsurpassed. Stainless steel **reinforcements **are embedded in the nose and tail for increased tip resistance.
