ESP E-II Eclipse - Description

The E-II Eclipse from ESP suits guitarists who want a powerful instrument for recording, live performances or studio work. If you’re into rock or metal and need clarity alongside sustain, this guitar fits the bill. Its solid build and premium pickups give you control and tone consistency, whatever your stage or session demands.

  • Mahogany body and neck offer warmth and resonance, making your chords and solos feel rich and full.
  • Ebony fingerboard with a 12” radius provides a smooth, fast playing surface that helps with precision and comfort during extended sessions.
  • EMG 85 and EMG 81 pickups deliver a balanced sound: the 85 brings smooth, thick tones great for leads, while the 81 adds punchy, aggressive rhythm sounds.
  • 22 frets and a nut width of 44 mm give ample space for fingerwork, ideal for varied playing styles from bends to fast runs.
  • The scale length of 24.75” contributes to a slightly looser string tension, making string bending easier and enhancing playability.
  • Comes with an ESP case for secure transport and storage.
  • Weight of 4.26 kg provides a substantial feel without being cumbersome.
  • Made in Japan, reflecting careful craftsmanship and quality standards.
  • Tobacco Burst finish adds a classic look that suits stage presence.
  • Condition shows almost no visible signs of use, ensuring a reliable instrument ready to perform.

Imagine heading into a recording session with the E-II Eclipse ready. You plug in, and the EMG pickups respond immediately to your touch, whether you’re layering chunky riffs or dialing in smooth lead lines. The guitar sits comfortably as you play, with the ebony fingerboard encouraging fluid movement across frets. It’s a dependable partner for both studio precision and live energy.

Q: Can the E-II Eclipse handle heavy distortion? A: Yes, its EMG 81 and 85 pickups are designed to maintain clarity and tightness under high gain, making it suitable for metal and hard rock tones.

Q: Is this guitar suitable for fast soloing? A: The 12” fingerboard radius and 22 frets provide a smooth surface that supports quick finger movements and precise bends.

Q: How does the guitar feel during long gigs? A: With a comfortable neck profile and balanced weight, it stays manageable on stage, reducing fatigue over hours of playing.

This ESP E-II Eclipse offers a combination of solid craftsmanship, versatile sound, and excellent playability. Its condition shows careful use, and it comes with a protective case. Choosing this guitar is a more sustainable choice, giving you professional-level gear without new production impact. It includes a warranty and a return policy to ensure your confidence in performance and quality.

What is the refurbed service fee?

In short: for a total order value of more than €50.00 and up to and including €1,500, refurbed charges a service fee of between €0.99 and €5.99, which applies in addition to the product price.
