Whether you prefer advanced adventures or are just looking for a quick up and down before heading to work, Capita’s goal is to produce a high-performance, affordable splitboard that offers control and stability on the way up and classic snowboard feel on the way down. The Neo Slasher features a DuraTail die-cut topsheet to protect your tail on the ascent, binding hardware from UNION BINDING COMPANY and new Amplitex reinforcement beams for resolute control in ride mode. This proven and ever-popular shape features a wide, rockered nose that transitions into a narrow, tapered 22 mm tail for effortless descents.

Riding style Get out into nature and let the action begin. The Neo Slasher loves hardpack as much as it loves waist-deep powder.

Shape The wide nose provides massive float in powder, while the narrow tail sinks deep and lets you float.

Profile The Alpine V1 Profile design features a positive camber between the bindings with a flat tail and rockered nose. This provides plenty of pop and stability on hardpack while increasing float and landing power for improved performance in deep snow. The camber is longer in the tail and offers additional power for the hike.

Flex The flex is medium-stiff with 7 out of 10 and offers you the necessary support in the backcountry. Powerful turns and stable landings are the order of the day.

Construction The Neo Slasher comes with FSC-certified wood. Capita is particularly proud of this and we think it’s great too. New Amplitex amplifiers provide responsive riding with the responsiveness of carbon and the damping of flax. Triax Holysheet was used because it has higher glass to weight ratio than regular fibre glass, providing pop with little weight. It has also been impregnated with high-performance, plant-based Magic Bean resin. This ensures particularly powerful and dynamic handling. The Hyperdrive base comes with an exclusively formulated ultra-high molecular weight, ultra-high density sintered polyethylene developed with special additives. Only suitable for speed junkies.
